I'm sort of a newbie to afs in general, but I spent
the last couple of days reading about it, and decided
to give it a try on my network. The machine in which
I'm trying to install to is running linux 2.4.24. I
downloaded the source for 1.2.10 and tried to build
it. The README and INSTALL files seemed to indicate
that I should run:
% ./configure --with-afs-sysname=i386_linux24
--with-linux-kernel-headers=/usr/src/linux
followed by
% make
and the binaries should go in a directory entitled
i386_linux24, but after running make, i can't find
this directory. What am I doing wrong, or is it a
possible misconfiguration of something on my system?
